A GIRL FROM STRUMICA UNDER A MASK
A girl from Strumica under a mask – is the relatively new sculpture placed on the square made by the sculptor Natasha Bozaharova in 2009.
The sculpture is a symbol of the city and it has a central place on the square.
It represents the carnival tradition as an important element of the citỳs cultural identity.
The bronze figure made in natural size, holds a carnival mask in one hand and a flag with the citỳs emblem in the other. The altitude, latitude and other useful information about the city are written on all four sides of the marble stand.
